About Me
Jordan McKoy is a New Jersey based makeup artist specializing in beauty and character design. From an early age she was fascinated with the way make up made her look and feel. It was that fascination that led her to want to give that feeling to others.
This fascination and passion for makeup led her to land her first job with one of the world’s makeup authorities MAC Cosmetics. It was there that she learned tricks of the trade from more seasoned makeup artists who had worked some of the biggest shows for New York Fashion Week. At MAC, Jordan was able to refine her skill more and deliver the same feeling to others that she had fell in love with so long ago. The feeling of being the most beautiful version of yourself.
After graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Jordan decided that she wanted to learn more about film makeup, special effects, and character design. She attended the Makeup Designory (MUD), and completed the Master of makeup artistry program. It was during this intensive training that she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots and designed a range of characters. She has worked on several web series: "Situationships" Directed by Cylla Senii; now on BET.com and "Tough lOVE" Web series which was nominated for a Daytime Emmy. She has been the key makeup artist for multiple music videos with celebrity directors and Grammy nominees, such as Fabolous, Jadakiss, and 50 Cent. She has had the opportunity to groom Dr. Deepak Chopra for Profiles TV Show as well as work with Charisse Jackon-Jordan from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
